Victaulic introduces pipe-preparation tool
Victaulic’s VE460 shop fabrication roll grooving tool can prepare pipes for jointing with the original groove system from 100 to 300 mm or for the advanced groove system from 350 to 1500 mm. It comes complete with safety guard and safety foot switch and is supplied with rolls for the original system from 100 to 300 mm and for the advanced system from 350 to 600 mm. Grooves can be rolled on standard-wall large-diameter pipes in five to seven minutes.
Three options kits provide rolls for larger sizes, along with pipe stands, railing, platform kit and support bases.
The VE460 has been designed with speed and ease of operation and maintenance in mind. There are no screws in the upper roll and no key in the lower roll, making for quick and easy roll changes.
