Lindab boosts production capacity for circular fittings

Lindab, circular ductwork fittings

The moving of Lindab’s facility for producing circular ductwork fittings to a new unit in Manchester’s Trafford Park enables bends in the popular 250 mm size to be produced in the UK for the first time. They will be available in 90°, 45°, 60° and 15° variants. These products were previously imported.

The 4100 m2 facility is around 30% larger than the old manufacturing premises and houses a significant investing in production machinery. Reducers, elbows, saddles and other essential fittings will be made there.

With its facility at Toddington in Gloucestershire, Lindab now has about 10 000 m2 of production space in the UK to make circular fittings from 800 to 2000 mm in galvanised or stainless steel.
