A range of equipment from Mita is used to carry provide power and data services in the £15 million Unity City Academyin Middlesbrough. Designed by Hickton Madeley, it has been designed as a centre of excellence and features a large amount of IT equipment. 2-compartment Inka aluminium trunking in a brushed anodised finish carries power and data cabling to all classrooms. Mita also supplied bespoke circular floor boxes designed to fit into the concrete floor. These boxes are just 215 mm in diameter but accommodate four socket outlets and four RJ45 sockets. The design of the 4-storey building includes an egg-shaped learning pod on steel legs in the centre of an elliptical copper-clad building. www.mita.co.uk

More refrigerant bans possible, says government
