Push-fit soil system wins Kitemark

Saint-Gobain, cast iron drainage

The new 150 mm version of Saint-Gobain’s push-fit cast-iron drainage system is now approved by the BSI to the BS EN 877:1999 standard for cast-iron pipes and fittings. This approval guarantees that the product is suitable for gravity soil applications at 0.5 bar. This 150 mm range complements the 100 mm range of push-fit socketed fittings and couplings.

A recent study at the Building Research Establishment found that this Ensign Eezi-Fit range is significantly quicker to install than systems joined by fusion welding.
