Victaulic couplings are ready for immediate connections

Victaulic, pipe couplings

Victaulic has brought a new style of flexible coupling to Europe, which can be installed in half the time required for standard flexible grooved couplings. The Style 177 QuickVic coupling has no loose parts, and there is no need to take a coupling apart before using it to make a joint.

Joints are made by pushing the joint and pipe or fitting together and then tightening the nuts using hand tools or an impact gun. Metal-to-metal contact of the bolt pads confirms proper installation.

The gasket material can be used in temperatures from -34 to 121 °C at pressures up to 70 bar. Joints are available in a range of sizes from 2 to 8 in for roll-grooved or cut-grooved steel pipe.
