Weather projects for future decades on free download

Promethus weather files can now be freely downloaded from the web site of Integrated Environmental Solutions following the setting up of a partnership with the Centre for Energy & the Environment and the department of physics at the University of Exeter. These files are available in epw format for high- and medium-emissions scenarios for the 2030s, 2050s and 2080s and are compatible with IESVE.

These weather files were created using the latest probabilistic projections of future climate (UKPC09) and offer a higher-confidence set of data than before. Such analysis can help the building sector adapt to the challenges of climate change by designing buildings to last in excess of 100 years.
