Dorgard fire-door retainer is a safe bet at Doncaster Racecourse

Fireco, Dorgard, door retainer

As part of a £34 million redevelopment Doncaster Racecourse, Exhibition & Conference Centre has installed Fireco’s Dorgard wireless door retainers to legally and safely hold open fire doors. They can be installed on the bottom of a firedoor in less than five minutes and release an open door in response to a continuous fire alarm of 65 dB(A) or louder.

These door retainers fail to safe (door closed) and improve access throughout buildings in line with the Disability Discrimination Act. They comply with BS EN 1155 and are accepted by the Fire & Rescue Services. There is an automatic night-time release facility.
