Thermal-imaging cameras
Flir’s T600bx series of thermal imaging cameras comprises two models designed for the efficient inspection of buildings. Both cameras have a uncooled micro-bolometer detector that produces 640 x 480 pixel thermal images showing the smallest of details.
The T640bx (illustrated) can resolve temperatures of 0.04 K and measure temperatures up to 650°C to an accuracy within 2% or ±2 K. Both cameras (the other is the T620bx) have an insulation alarm and a humidity alarm.
There is a choice of lenses beyond the standard 25°.
Both models have a 5 mega-pixel digital camera and an LED lamp for dark environments
Data acquired by an Extech moisture meter can be transferred to the camera and embedded in the image.
Both cameras have a WiFi imaging interface to enable images to be sent to a PC, iPad or iPhone, so that a swift second opinion can be sought on a critical decision. Both cameras can generate a professional PDF document, enabling a thermo-graphic survey to be completed on site.
The Panorama image-stitching tool can be specified for both cameras.
