Flexible duct is greener

A more environmentally friendly construction and lower resistance — CCL’sTecflex 800S flexible ducting.
CCL does not use solvents as the principal bonding agent in its Tecflex 800S range of flexible ductwork. A new manufacturing process has reduced the amount of solvent used in the production of this ductwork by over 90%. A new type of construction has a supporting high-tensile steel wire helix embedded between two layers of fabric. The result is 10 to 25% less resistance on ducts of 200 mm diameter or larger compared with Tecflex 800. The new range is available in diameters from 80 to 600 mm. 6 m lengths are standard; other lengths are available to special order.
