Hot water for the showers in the sports pavilion at Trinity Hall, Cambridge is provided by Movichrom NB 9/2 booster pump supplied by KSB.
A multi-stage water-booster pump unit supplied by KSB to Trinity Hall, Cambridge, provides domestic hot water to showers in the sports pavilion at the college. The multi-stage Movichrom NB 9/2 booster pump was specified by Roger Parker Associates and supplied and installed by Burwell Mechanical Services, both of Cambridge. KSB says that this booster pump offers a high level of operating reliability and safety. Features such as confined O rings prevent leakage in the event of considerable temperature fluctuations. The space between stage casings and pump shroud is filled with water, which dampens flow noise so that the pumps are extremely quiet in operation. The configuration of the pump allows a pipe layout that requires little space and which is resistant to external forces acting on the nozzles. Movichrom pumps are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
