Air conditioning to provide both heating and cooling for the new premises of the Weather Shop In Eastbourne is being provided with 30% lower power consumption than traditional system using heat-pump systems with inverter drives. They also use use the ozone-friendly refrigerant R410A. The Weather Shop supplies a full range of electronic weather-monitoring devices and equipment. The owners wanted a combined cooling and heating system. Aspen Air Conditioning designed a complete system, without the need for separate central heating or electric heaters that would occupy valuable retail space. The new shop is at the Waterfront on Sovereign Harbour. To gain planning consent, the external units had to match a strict colour code to blend in with the harbour’s ambience.
