Re-engineered for improved performance, installation and maintenance — Nordair’s RM220 roof-mounted gas-fired warm-air heater.
Nordair has re-engineered its RM220 roof-mounted, gas-fired warm-air heaters to be lighter, quieter and easier to access for routine maintenance. They have a heat output of 200 kW and airflow of 3.6 m3/s. These heaters are particularly suited to heating-replacement projects, where they can be installed simply and quickly to replace existing air-input units heated by steam or hot water. Multiple units can be installed to serve large buildings and provide good environmental control. Advanced burner technology ensures lean fuel consumption and low emissions. A cast-iron manifold with stainless-steel mixing plates provides maximum combustion efficiency throughout the full turndown ratio. They are fully modulating and introduce 20% fresh air. Space temperature and discharge-air temperature are both monitored to ensure optimum comfort and fuel economy.
