Is this the largest photo-voltaic installation in the West Midlands?

BP Solar
Integrated into the facade and roof structure of the Optima Innovation Centre in Nuneaton are solar photo-voltaic panels that are expected to generate 68.7 MWh of electricity a year.
What is thought to be the largest solar photo-voltaic installation in the UK has a capacity of 105 kW. The project was master-minded by BP Solar and has a capacity of 105 kW to help serve the needs of up to 46 businesses occupying the Optima Innovation Centre at Elliot Park in Nuneaton. The building is owned by Warwickshire County Council, and the solar system is expected to reduced carbon-dioxide emissions by 48 t a year. The south-facing facade is fitted with 52 bespoke PowerGlaz units produced by BP’s partner manufacturer Romag. They fit onto a vertical screen frame, which has high visual impact as well as providing additional shading control. These panels have been mounted onto a curved array using bolted-glass technology. There is also a Kalzip construction system housing 573 solar panels on either side of the east- and west-facing roof. Features of the £440 000 solar installation include data-logging technology which can be interfaced with the building-management system. Information such as electricity production and performance, as well as ambient temperature and hours of sunshine are available.
