NIBE launches range of powerful ground-source heat pumps
NIBE’s F1345 range of 3-phase ground-source heat pumps is available in four sixes with outputs of 24, 30, 40 and 60 kW. Up to nine units can be cascaded to deliver up to 540 kW. Applications include large residential, commercial and, even, industrial situations. They have a COP of well over four — up to 10% better than earlier versions.
With the new NIBE Modbus accessory, these heat pumps can be controlled by a building-management system.
These heat pumps have two large scroll compressors with an intelligent control system to optimise efficiency and minimise wear.
Energy can be extracted from boreholes, ground collectors or lake water.
Noise levels are said to be extremely low, and units are compact with a height of 1.8 m, width of 600 mm and depth of 620 mm
