Grundfos contributes to efficient water usage in Sydney

Using less than a tenth of the mains water of conventional office buildings in Australia is this 2-storey development in Sydney.

Savings of 92% in the consumption of mains water for a development of two 8-storey office buildings in the Darling Quarter of Sydney compared to conventional office buildings is achieved by combining water treatment, water reuse, rainwater harvesting — and over 50 pumps from Grundfos.

The pumps include SP pumps for reusing rainwater and BM, SEG and CR pumps for recycling water. Grundfos Hydro MPC booster sets are installed in the potable-water system and the recycled-system water.

Credentials achieved by the Darling Quarter include a 6-star Green Star office V2 Design Rating and a 5-star NABERS (National Australian Built Environment Rating System) rating.
