Plastics pipe systems

Hep3O
The ins and outs of the Hep3O push-fit water pressure system are explained in this technical handbook.
Hepworth Plumbing Products has published a technical manual on its Hep3O plastics alloy water pressure systems. Designed for potable water and sewage, the range extends from 63 to 630 mm with pressure ratings from 8 to 16 bar. A key to the system is the Power-Lock seal, a push-fit joint providing exceptional performance under positive or negative pressure. A design section helps specifiers take account of factors such as hydraulic design, surge and fatigue, external compressive loads and deflection. There is a guide to codes of practice and regulator documents on specifying pressure systems.
