Cavity-wall projects grow by over a third

The installation of cavity wall insulation grew by 36% in the first six months of 2012 compared to the same period in 2011 to nearly 250 000 installations. This figure was for installations under the Cavity Wall Self Certification Scheme, operated and administered by the Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency in association with the British Board of Agrément.

The CISC scheme was officially launched on 1 October 2010.
