Replacement boiler plant for a school in Cornwall uses equipment from MHS Boilers.

Aging cast-iron boilers in a school in Cornwall have been replaced by equipment from MHS Boilers. The new installation at St Meriadoc C of E Junior School in Camborne comprises two 120 kW Thision L boilers and a 500 l Gemini calorifier. The boilers were installed on a free-standing cascade frame with a low-loss header and Pisces Minifill pressurization unit.

The boilers were specified by Blue Flame (Cornwall), whose installation manager Duncan Impey explained, ‘With restricted floor space in the plant room, we needed to specify boilers that had excellent efficiencies as well as a compact design. The Thision L cascade rig was the ideal solution, and combined with excellent service from the MHS sales team the project has been a great success.
