Five functions in one valve from Belimo

Belimo, valve actuator, balancing, commissioning

Belimo’s Energy Valve characterised control valve combines measuring, controlling, balancing and shutting within a single valve. It also includes a heat meter. Flow is electronically measured and balanced on a permanent basis, markedly reducing the time required for hydraulic balancing.

The characterising disc in these valves ensures an equal-percentage valve characteristic curve. The valve also closes tightly to prevent circulation losses in the water circuit.

Temperature readings from sensors in the flow and return and flow rate provide continuous information on energy consumption. This information is held for 13 months within the valve and can be viewed via a BMS or web browser.

Flows can be adjusted via the Web server or BMS down to 45% in 2.5% changes.

These valves are available in five sizes from 65 to 150 mm.
