New fan commission from high commission

Elta Fans’ recently launched Slim QUBe double-skinned fan unit has gone straight into operation at the Brunei Darussalam High Commission in London’s Belgrave Square. It was installed to replace a failed belt-drive unit that was part of the busy kitchen-ventilation system.

The unit was installed by Shannon Integrated Services and supplied through J. A. Glover of Wembley, specialists in ventilation supplies.

These fan units incorporate the high-performance Ziehl-Abegg backward-curved RH-C impeller, which is designed for operation without a scroll.

There are six models in four standard sizes with flow rates up to 5.2 m3/s. These units are fully speed controllable and have the motor out of the airstream so they can be used at temperatures up to 120°C.
