Myson intelligent fan convectors enjoy success

Myson fan convector, space heating

A year on since the launch of its iVector fan convector for space heating, Myson reports that it has proved invaluable in the commercial sector. These units can also cool when linked with a reverse-cycle heat pump.

Andre Lowery, product manager with Myson Fan Convectors, explains, ‘The value of wall and floor space can be overlooked, but in commercial environments such as corporate offices and retail environments, space is definitely money. The iVector’s compact size allows both wall and floor space to be used more cost effectively, maximising the potential of commercial buildings as a valuable asset.’

These fan coils can be used with traditional boilers and renewable heat sources. Operation is described as silent at normal fan speeds. Controls options include a 24/7 programmer, night setback and a built-in option to link to a building-management system.
