Airflow Developments moves into hand dryers

Airflow Developments, hand dryer, hand drier

Two hand dryers from Airflow Developments can deliver over 400 drying cycles using just 1 kWh of electricity. The 550 W fan in ecoDRY dryers runs at 26 000 rev/min and delivers an airflow of 2500 l/min, giving a drying time to 10 to 14 s. There is no heater, heat being provided by the motor after the first daily use.

These hand dryers come in a choice of two covers — white ABS or satin-finished aluminium. They are operated by an automatic sensor.

There are two levels of protection against bacteria. One is a HEPA filter. The other is an Agion silver anti-microbial surface protection, which releases silver ions onto the internal plastic surfaces at a controlled rate. The overall effect is to catch 99.97% of germ particles before they become airborne and reach the user’s hands.

The filter helps to reduce noise levels by at least 3 or 4 dB(A).
