Glazed ventilators also provide natural and smoke ventilation

Powrmatic, glazed ventilator, natural ventilation, smoke ventilation

Powrmatic’s Ultrasky glazed ventilator can provide natural and smoke ventilation, as well as being an excellent source of daylight. It has been designed for seamless integration into inclined and vertical glazing systems, enabling architects to use these units as a cost-efficient alternative to rooflights or standard window systems.

Tested to BS EN 12101-2, the triple-sealed Ultrasky combines low air leakage with a thermally broken extrusion to minimise heat losses.

Ultrasky can be designed to respond to a range of parameters — including wind, rain, temperature and air quality. Control can be via a main control panel, with links to the fire-alarm interface, building-management system or manually operation by occupants.

They are made at Powrmatic’s factory and can be designed to suit any application, size and colour finish. There can be different colours inside and outside. Alternatives to glazing include polycarbonate (insulated or insulated), aluminium or an acoustically insulated panel.
