LED luminaires have built-in sensors

Steinel, lighting, LED, luminaire, presence detector

Two sensor-controlled light fittings from Steinel combine LED light sources with high-frequency sensor technology that is sensitive enough to provide instantaneous light when a space is occupied. RS Pro LED S1 and S2 fittings are very easy to install and particularly well suited to the retrofit market. There are two sizes with LED outputs of 873 and 1525 lm.

These fittings have no start-up curve and no relay-clicking sound. The motion sensors cover 360° and have a range of 8 m.

An integral photocell measures the amount of daylight in the room, switching off the lights if there is enough daylight available. Time-delay control is also possible. There is the option of a low level of light at all times.

The is a choice of two light colours, cool white and warm white. Fittings can be specified with a glass, polycarbonate or PMMA shade.
