GDL delivers natural ventilation for two health centres in Hull

GDL, natural ventilation, Building Regulations, Part L
Natural ventilation with security is provided for Hessle Road Health Centre in Hull by GDL Intelivent wall units.

GDL has designed, manufactured and installed a natural-ventilation solution for the Hessle Road Health Centre and Bransholme Health Centre in Hull, working with client East Yorkshire Glass. The development of the two health centres is part of a wider scheme to develop better facilities and to maximise existing facilities among 13 health centres in the region by Citycare on behalf of the NHS trust.

The company’s Intelivent wall units were installed, with ventilation rate controlled according to temperature and CO2 levels whilst maintaining the security of the buildings.

Consultation rooms have their own sensor-controlled system to individually serve each room. The operator can thus select their preference for temperature and air quality throughout the day.
