Delivering 2-zone heat

SAV Systems, space heating, Part L, Building Regulations

To facilitate compliance with the requirement for zoned heat in dwellings in Part L of the Building Regulations, SAV offers a 2-zone compliance kit. It comprises a 2-part manifold with integral zone valves, two actuators, a wiring box and related connections.

To comply with the requirement for time control, the kit can be used with programmable room thermostats, which are connected to actuators on each branch in the dwelling to ensure independent temperature control of each zone.

The kit can be combined with an SAV FlatStation heat interface unit in each apartment of a multi-residential project served by a district-heating scheme.
