CDL doubles operation at Warrington

Cool Designs

Cool Designs, a distributor for Toshiba’s air-conditioning and heat-pump systems, has doubled the size of its operation in Warrington. The new 325 m2 premises are next to the existing site and have been fitted out as additional warehousing and to provide a specially designed workshop. The stock of spares and accessories is also being increased.

Managing director Darrel Birkett explains, ‘This workshop is an important innovation for CDL as it gives us the opportunity to customise products and provide bespoke solutions for heating and cooling projects.’

One example is customising floor-standing units that are normally used as part of a VRF system for split systems, where their small footprint makes them ideal for many situations.

When it is not possible to crane lift a VRF condensing unit into position, CDL can break it down into three or more manoeuvrable pallets.
