New boilers save 25% for housing trust

Following the replacement of old boiler plant with two boilers from Atlantic Boilers’ VF range Liverpool Housing Trust has reduced energy consumption at its Friendship House building by over 25%. The new condensing boilers each have an output of 100 kW and were installed with minimum interruption to heating services.

Friendship House has 31 flats with resident staff support. There is also a lounge, guest facilities, salon and garden.

VF boilers can modulate down to 25% and have NOx emissions below 35 mg/kWh.

Consulting engineers were REC of Liverpool. The boilers were installed by Kimpton Building Services of Birkenhead.
