Solray supplies radiant heating for new leisure centre in Sandwell

Solray, radiant heat, space heating

The recently opened Portway Lifestyle Centre in Sandwell includes several types of Solray radiant-heating panels. They include plasterboard units, suspended-ceiling units and free-hanging panels. In total, there are nearly 50 runs of heating panels in various lengths and widths for a variety of areas from toilets to large multi-use sports halls.

Portway Lifestyle Centre is an £18 million sports, health and wellbeing centre for the whole community, as well as a centre of excellence for people with disabilities.

Working with design-and-build contractor Lorne Stewart and M&E consultant Building Services Design, Solray delivered the radiant panels in phases to assist with site progress.
