Viessmann opens new green factory in Turkey

Viessmann

Viessmann’s own renewable-energy products play a key role in meeting and reducing the energy requirements of its new factory in Turkey. The factory was created solely using environmentally friendly low-pollution and recyclable materials.

The factory, which produces wall-mounted gas-fired appliances, runs entirely on energy from renewable sources. 60% of power is supplied by the company’s Vitovolt solar PV panels on the roof. Five air-to water heat pumps provide space heating and 10 K of cooling in the summer, when outdoor temperatures typically reach 36°C.
