Airflow fans serve high-end expedition vehicles

Airflow Developments, fan, ventilation

High-tech expedition vehicles made by Bliss Mobil in The Netherlands now boast ventilation provided by Aiflow Developments’ iCON 15S extractor fans. These vehicles are designed to provide unrestricted access to the most remote and inhospitable locations in the world.

Marleen Hoex of Bliss Mobil explains that the Iris shutter of these fans helps to reduce heat loss, prevent noise ingress and enables complete ventilation of the vehicle in all environments — even in desert conditions.

The fans are integrated into the onboard automation system. Thy ensure good air quality for passengers and protect parts of the vehicle such as lithium-ion batteries and complex computer mainframes.
