Gas-fired humidifier is small in size and running costs

This gas-fired steam humidifier from JS provides an output of 90 kg/h from a footprint of 610 x 560 mm.
A compact steam humidifier with an output of 90 kg/h has been introduced by JS Humidifiers. The Neptronic SKG has a footprint of 610 by 560 mm. Its running costs are said to be 85% lower than electric steam humidifiers, giving a payback of about 2 months when replacing existing electrode-boiler units. To deal with the build-up of scale, these units have a quick-release tank mechanism that allows limescale build-up to be emptied in less than five minutes from start to finish. Another feature is the patented spiralling design of the heat exchanger, which fluctuates significantly in size during operation. The change in size cracks the scale from the surface, keeping the exchanger clean and fully efficient. The scale is either flushed to drain or collects in the bottom of the boiling tank.
