RHI applications receive approval in two weeks

TEAM, which carries out independent assessments for the Renewable Heat Incentive, reports having had two recent applications processed and approved within just two weeks. This success is attributed to the company’s sound knowledge of the RHI requirements and its ability to produce an expert IRMA (independent report on metering arrangements). The result is the submission of an application that facilitates Ofgem’s review process.

This speed for achieving approval means that customers receive payments sooner and are less likely to be affected by the quarterly review of tariffs — which may reduce payments.

One application for was Richard Meredith-Mardy of FlyMicro, twice microlight world champion. He wrote to TEAM, ‘You’ll be pleased to know that Ofgem rang to congratulate me on making a model application for RHI accreditation. “We can find nothing wrong with it,” she said.’
