Grundfos improves interim results

Half-year figures from Grundfos Group show sales growing at 7 to 8% over last year, a rate that is expected to continue for the rest of 2005. The growth comes from the Far East, Eastern Europe, North America and Western Europe. A turnover of €2 billion by 2007 is now on the cards. €1.7 billion was achieved in 2004. During 2005, Grundfos will open new factories in India and Russia and increase production capacity in China and Hungary. Production in Mexico has also moved several stages closer.

The Engineering and Building Services Skills Alliance (EBSSA) has published its strategic Sector Skills Plan, as part of the work undertaken by the Construction Mission Skills Board.
