BSS expands national distribution centre

BSS Industrial, a leading supplier of heating and pipeline solutions, has broken ground at its Magna Park national distribution centre in Leicestershire, to add 3500 m2, improving product choice and availability for customers. The investment will increase the regularity of deliveries to the branches nationwide, making a wider range of products available overnight. Orders placed by 5 p.m. will be in the store by opening time the next day.

David Rose, divisional supply chain director for BSS Industrial, said, ‘The Magna Park NDC has provided customers with unrivalled product availability for over a decade. This expansion will allow BSS to offer an event wider range of solutions within this incredibly short timescale.’

The work is planned to finish in October 2014.
