Grundfos contributes to the legacy of the Commonwealth Games

Contributing to the success of the Commonwealth Games this summer were Grundfos pumps in the Emirates Arena, which hosted badminton, and the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome. There was equipment to support HVAC services and the water-boosting requirements. Grundfos also supplied the fire-suppression system.

Post games, clever engineering and the integration of hydraulics means that the Emirates Arena can be transformed into a 200 m, 6-lane athletics track and be capable of hosting badminton, netball and basketball fixtures.
