Trane chillers can deliver hot and cold water at the same time
Trane has developed a range of multi-pipe chillers that can deliver hot and chilled water at the same time. This capability enables these chillers to deliver cooling and heating to a building at the same time — improving the energy efficiency of the central plant.
These units are well suited to heating systems with low-temperature radiators or underfloor heating.
Multi-pipe chillers are available in sizes from 50 to 810 kW. There are 17 models with a new design of scroll compressor and nine with a new screw compressor.
