VDT lighting without dark ceilings

Cooper Lighting’s Moduspec T5 semi-recessed modular luminaire has been developed to meet the latest criteria for offices where VDTs are used. This luminaire combines efficient louvre-controlled downlighting with a gentle ceiling-wash effect created by a prismatic lens and perforated-panel arrangement. High-frequency control gear is standard. There is a choice of three or four 14 W T5 fluorescent lamps and a choice of mirror- or satin-finish Xenoptic anodised-aluminium louvres. These 600 mm-square luminaires are suitable for lay-in or draw-up applications in exposed T concealed-fix and metal-pan ceilings. They protrude only 85 mm into the ceiling void. The Moduspec range includes fully integral emergency versions, with or without self-test facilities. All 4-lamp models can be fitted with Crompton Intellect lighting control if required. A fully recessed version with solid or perforated feature panels is available.
