Online U-value calculator
Kingspan’s online U-value calculator features calculations under the BBA/TIMSA competency scheme. This tool is free and easy to use. It does not require registration and includes 6000 calculations for pitched and flat roofs and walls.
The site can be used with mobile and desktop devices and guides the user through a series of quick questions about the specification. Progress can be saved at any time by bookmarking the calculation.
The calculator provides a recommended insulation solution and thickness, with the resulting U-value. The thickness of insulation or U-value can be tweaked as required. The full calculation can be supplied by e-mail as a pdf file.
The calculations can take into account fixings and bridging factors.
