Vortice delivers energy-efficient ventilation for new apartments

Vortice, MVHR, ventilation

Energy-efficient ventilation for a housing development in Warrington is being provided by Vortice heat-recovery units. The Liberty Place development by David Wilson Homes comprises apartments with one and two bedrooms and is aimed at first-time buyers and downsizers.

Vortice was appointed to assist in the design and specification of energy-efficient ventilation and worked alongside Thomson Electrical of Warrington to train its team in best practice.

Martin Lenihan, contracts director with Thomson Electrical, said, ‘This is just one example of a project where a close working relationship with the manufacturer, the developer and the installation team has reaped dividends. The new residents will also be provided with an information pack to ensure that their ventilation system works at its optimum levels for many years to come.’

Vortice runs regular BPEC training course. This investment in training and education has proved to be incredibly effective in ensuring that installation teams have no problems on site when installing and commissioning what are technologically advanced heat-recovery systems.
