Skanska wins PFI hospital scheme in Nottinghamshire

Skanska Innisfree has achieved financial close on a PFI scheme to transform health-care provision for users of three hospitals in central Nottinghamshire. The 32-year contract includes a £300 million redevelopment programme and the provision and operation of facilities and key support services. The project was commissioned by Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust and Mansfield District Primary Car Trust. It covers three facilities: Kings Mill Acute Hospital, Mansfield Community Hospital and Newark General Hospital.
