Building Regulation boost for electric heating

The implications of forthcoming Building Regulations for electric heating are explained in this leaflet from Dimplex.

Dimplex has produced a guidance leaflet about the forthcoming Part L of the Building Regulations and electric heating. Marketing manager Chris Davis explains, ‘When used with advanced control systems, electric heating is better placed to meet the heavily reduced heat losses of modern buildings. We also recognise the benefits of integrating traditional electric heating systems with renewable systems such as heat pumps and are currently working on a long-term programme to investigate hybrid systems.’
