Large-fan market targeted by ebm-papst

Papst
Axial and centrifugal fans in large sizes have been introduced by ebm-papst.
Ebm-papst is making its debut into the market for large fans with the launch of five new sizes of axial fans and three new sizes of centrifugal fans. The new axial fans range in size from 500 to 800 mm and the backward-curved centrifugals from 500 to 630 mm. There are also two new ranges of external-rotor motor in single and 3-phase and four, six, eight and 12 poles. An 800 mm axial fan used in a refrigeration condenser typically found on the roof of a supermarket is said to consume 10% less power than other axial fans. It will also be 4 dB quieter at full speed and can be up to 6 dB quieter under speed control.
