Fire-stopping system does not impede installation and cable changes

Cablofil
Cablofil’s EZ-Path fire-stop protection system enables cables to be added or removed easily and quickly.
Cablofil’s EZ-Path through-wall fire-stop protection system is covered in a 12-page brochure. This system has been tested to DIN specifications and designed to comply with BS, ASTM and EN requirements. It provides total containment and fire protection for data cabling and low-voltage wiring. Used with Cablofil welded-steel tray, EZ-Path enables new cables to be added or existing wiring removed without the need for additional fire stopping and without compromising fire safety or building security. EZ-Path can be installed quickly and easily. It comprises 76 mm square-section galvanised-steel trunking for installing through conventional fire-rated floors, interior partitions or structural walls. The trunking is lined with fire-stopping inert material which expands in a fire to form a high-integrity barrier with a 4-hour certified fire rating against heat, smoke and fumes.
