Intumescent fire sleeves

Aico has added four specialist fire sleeves to its range of intumescent fire-safety products. There are sleeves for electrical trunking, pipes and conduits, cable tray and ventilation ducts. These new Firecap sleeves can be used with a wide range of metal and/or PVC electrical and plumbing products through a wide range of fire-partition walls and floors, providing a 2-hour file and smoke ‘stop’ through all common wall constructions and partitions. In their passive state, they also provide a cold-smoke seal and thermal and acoustic insulation.
