Rinnai smart design defends against Legionella even off-peak

Rinnai, Legionella, continuous flow units

Rinnai’s continuous flow hot water systems offer a solution designed to support building managers and maintenance teams in the fight against Legionella risk.

With Rinnai continuous flow units, water temperature for distribution is accurate to ±1˚C. There is no cylinder to cause potential Legionella bacteria problems because the cold water enters the heater from the mains and is immediately heated to advisory levels. Rinnai’s smart controls also offer a timer channel programme and temperature controller linked to the water system which can raise water temperatures to 60oC in unoccupied hours, and cooling by the time occupants arrive. It is a very simple technology that takes advantage of innate high-tech controls within the water heater. It eliminates risk from Legionella bacteria and is ideal for use in care homes, hospitals and sports clubs - any large or small-scale site.
