Trend has the Vision to monitor, manage and control smart buildings

Trend

Trend Controls has unveiled the latest development of its IQ Vision software. It integrates Trend controllers, third-party devices and internet protocols into a centralised software platform that allows modern connected buildings to be managed efficiently.

IQ Vision is based on Tridium’s Niagara 4 interface. This means that the software is intuitive and easy to use, featuring dashboards, dynamic schematics, real-time reports, alarm handling and occupancy time scheduling.

Trend will shortly launch the most up-to-date version, IQ Vision 2.2.

This latest update delivers a range of innovative improvements unique to Trend. This includes extended controller support, faster device discovery and reliability.

It also helps to simplify the engineering and operation of a BEMS by widening the technical scope of the tasks that it can perform.

Alan Johnstone, partner channel sales leader, says: “With IQ Vision 2.2, we had two clear goals: Make it easier to engineer and simpler to use.

“We have done this and also added a new Trend Driver that provides unrivalled performance and data security.”
