Bank cuts running costs of air conditioning

A more stable and comfortable environment has been achieved in a bank in Grantham following the replacement of the existing air-conditioning system with new Mitsubishi Mr Slim R410A Power Inverters. The project in the High Street branch of NatWest was a the outcome of a partnership between installer Oakland Air Control and the bank’s facilities-management team Integral. The two companies provide ongoing support to ensure that control and fresh-air qualities are maintained for the 3-year warranty for parts and labour — and beyond. Inverter control of the new equipment can reduce power consumption by up to 70%. These units can also be used with existing pipework for refits if required. Mark Satterthwaite of Oakland air says, ‘Oakland Air was one of the first companies to install the new Power Inverter, and I’m delighted at how well suited the units are to the job.’ air.conditioning
