Ease of installation and flexibility are combined in a new manifold for underfloor heating from Robbens Systems

Robbens Systems has developed a manifold for underfloor heating systems that combines smart appearance with features to ensure a more efficient system. Flow and return connections are chrome plated. Headers are substantial brass extrusions that are smart and tough and much less likely to sustain damage from a spanner. Features include special fittings on each header to take hose connectors for simple, rapid fitting of hoses for draining and filling the system. The headers also incorporate air-bleed valves. A manifold can be extended by removing the end plugs and fitting a specially designed extension kit. The reliability of flow and return connections is increased by using a compression olive and tapered spigot with O-ring seal. Both are retained in the fitting, so they cannot be lost. Pumps and actuators are already fitted with blanking plates ready for pressure testing.
