Grooved connections for large pipes

Victaulic has introduced a range of large-diameter rigid and flexible couplings, fittings, valves and accessories for pipework. The Advanced Groove System is available in diameters from 350 to 600 mm. A 2-piece housing requires only two fixing bolts, compared with up to 20 on the flanged equivalent. A new wedge-shaped groove achieves pressure rating of up to 24 bar. Visual confirmation of correct assembly is provided by a bolt-pad-to-bolt-pad design.
